The FilterClean Story💦

FilterClean LLC is a specialized cartridge filter cleaning company based in Tempe, Arizona. Founded in 2011 and operating under new ownership since late 2022, FilterClean has grown from a filter-cleaning service into a company focused on water conservation, restoration, and reuse.

The idea is simple: why replace a filter when you can restore it? Through our Automated Closed Loop System, FilterClean deep-cleans and re-bands cartridge filters while reclaiming and recycling the water used in the cleaning process. This helps cartridge filter owners extend filter life, reduce waste, and clean their filters at a fraction of the cost of buying new ones.

But our mission goes beyond saving customers money. With hundreds of thousands of pools across Arizona, we believe small changes in pool maintenance can create a major impact on our state's water supply. That's why FilterClean has committed to a bold goal: saving 2Billion Gallons of water for Arizona.

From local customers and community partnerships to news coverage highlighting our work, FilterClean is working to change the way Arizona thinks about pool filter maintenance. Clean. Restore. Reuse. It's more than what we do—it's the path toward a cleaner, smarter, and more water-conscious future for Arizona.

Page Gray — Owner, FilterClean LLC

Page brings decades of leadership, business, and conservation experience to FilterClean. His career has included global brand leadership with BP/Castrol, international operations, sustainability initiatives, and community leadership. Today, he is applying that experience to an Arizona-focused mission: changing how cartridge filters are cleaned, reused, and managed while helping protect the state's water resources.

Paul Harris Jr. — Technician & Visionary, FilterClean LLC

Paul brings a hands-on technical background and a passion for service to FilterClean. After training at Universal Technical Institute and building experience in automotive service, including Tesla and BMW-related work, he brought that same attention to detail and mechanical discipline to pool filtration. Today, Paul works directly with customers and filters, helping turn FilterClean’s vision of cleaner, smarter, more sustainable pool maintenance into reality.

Together

Paul and Page bring two very different perspectives to the same mission—hands-on technical experience and global business leadership. Together, they are working to build FilterClean into more than a filter-cleaning company: a water-conservation solution for Arizona.
